I loved photographing Brooke and Rachel in the studio with their ballet outfits! I shot their mom's wedding in 2007 and their new twin brothers last year. It was impressive to see Rachel jump so elegantly in the air! Check out Brooke's toenails! I love the shots of the sisters! I modified a pose I saw in an Annie Leibovitz book of Gweneth Paltrow and her mother.  I've always wanted my sister and I to be photographed like this.  So sweet.  We have scheduled another shoot for their little brothers outside in the sunshine.  ~Cameron

Jason is another awesome rising senior at Flagstaff High School who is helping us get the word out early about booking your senior portrait session.  High School senior portrait sessions should be booked in the summer before school starts again in the fall.  Most schools have early deadlines for the yearbook.  Watch for great early booking deals through facebook and the mail.

It's time to start thinking about senior portraits for class of 2011.  We start booking sessions beginning June 1st.  Summer is the best time to get your session scheduled.  The yearbook deadlines are very early fall, which doesn't leave much time for next year's senior class to get organized and get the best photos ever!  Watch for more exciting offers for seniors next month.  Check out the slideshow here

Karen Lynn of Sedona Wedding Planner, pulled together a gorgeous event for Don's 70th birthday party.  As part of the package, we shot one hour of this event. While we were there, we remembered why we LOVE Seven Canyons Sedona.  SO GORGEOUS!  The views are 360 degrees and the "ranch house" was appointed with a elegant western style (we had to include a few extra details of the location at the end of this post)! If you would like to have your event there, contact Karen Lynn or members Jim & Ken of Events by Showstoppers, who also designed the elegant floral arrangements. Andrea from Sedona Cake Couture made a "wrapped present" cake and one of the guests asked if it was a real present! Jamelle and I agreed on the drive home that we'd hope to have a party just like that when we turn 70! Don's family and guests were so genuine and friendly.  Don thought it would be fun to have everyone at the event represented in black and white baby photos attached to Popsicle sticks-- it was the best ice breaker I've ever seen! Don's daughter made a toast and had everyone, including myself, in tears. During the toast I couldn't help but think, "I know my daughter will have great things to say about my husband at his 70th birthday."  It was a sweet moment. ~Cameron~

This little personal shoot "Owen's second haircut," reminds me how big my boy is getting.  I remember taking this photo so I would actually BE in a photo with my son.  It turned out cute.  This is one of my favorite mirror shots I've taken.  If you want me to document something like this of your family, give us a call.  I love to shoot events that you've got planned for your kids: birthdays, haircuts, first day of school...playgroup -- bath time, etc.
